Dear Supporter,
October brought with it thousands of moments where women and newborns received the care they needed most — and every one of those moments was made possible through your support.
This month alone, 3,605 women accessed essential reproductive health services across SEMA’s clinics and maternity centers. These services ensured safer pregnancies, protected mothers during high-risk complications, and supported women through some of the most vulnerable stages of their lives.
Here’s what your generosity achieved:
229 safe natural deliveries, giving newborns a healthy start
41 Caesarean deliveries, protecting mothers and babies when natural birth wasn’t possible
41 gynecology surgeries, addressing urgent conditions that affect women’s health
5,453 laboratory tests that allowed physicians to monitor pregnancies and diagnose risks early
124 radiography scans supporting urgent maternal assessments
818 prescriptions delivered to women who could not afford medication
619 admissions for women requiring close and continuous care
Behind every number is a mother who felt safer, a newborn who arrived into the world protected, and a family whose future became more hopeful.
Your support strengthens the entire cycle of maternal and newborn care — from monitoring pregnancy to the very first cry of a child who might not have survived otherwise.
Thank you for standing with women and their babies during the moments they need help the most.
