Dear Supporter,
In October, thanks to your continued generosity, SEMA’s Nutrition and Community Health Worker (CHW) programs delivered vital services to vulnerable families across Syria — with a strong focus on northwest Syria, where needs remain critical.
Throughout the month, our teams reached 2,116 individuals with essential nutrition and community health services aimed at early detection, prevention, and household-level care. Through 1,424 MUAC screenings, children at risk of malnutrition were identified early and supported with timely referral and follow-up. In addition, 20 collective awareness sessions helped caregivers strengthen their knowledge around child nutrition, health, and disease prevention, while 439 home visits ensured direct support reached the most vulnerable families in their homes.
These efforts served 597 males and 1,519 females, underscoring our commitment to inclusive, family-centered care — particularly for mothers and children living in displacement and hardship.
Your support in October translated into real action on the ground: healthier children, empowered caregivers, and communities better equipped to face ongoing challenges.
Thank you for standing with families in Syria and for making compassionate, life-saving services possible when they are needed most.
With sincere appreciation,
