On the occasion of World Children’s Day, the Muhambal Community Center, operated by SEMA in rural Idlib, organized a special celebration for children from Muhambal village. The day was filled with life, laughter, and learning—offering children a rare chance to simply be children.
The activity included engaging performances, purposeful songs, short educational plays, expressive activities, and group competitions. The celebration concluded with the distribution of small gifts that brought genuine smiles and excitement to the children’s faces.
Beyond the joy, this event carried an important message. It helped strengthen children’s understanding of their basic rights, the importance of dignity, and the need for protection—especially in environments shaped by displacement and prolonged hardship. The psychological and social impact of the day was clear, leaving children feeling seen, valued, and supported.
Thanks to your support, community centers like this continue to provide safe spaces where children can learn, express themselves, and regain a sense of normalcy despite the challenges surrounding them.
