Dear Supporter,
Thank you for standing with us and making this work possible.
With your generous support, SEMA successfully conducted a two-day training on the Fundamentals of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), reaching 60 healthcare professionals working on the frontlines.
The training provided participants with essential knowledge on GBV concepts, including the distinction between sex and gender, protection-related rights, different forms and root causes of gender-based violence, and the key guiding principles for responding to GBV cases safely and ethically.
A core focus of the training was strengthening participants’ understanding of safe referral mechanisms. Healthcare staff were equipped with clear guidance on their critical role in referring GBV survivors to case managers through secure and confidential referral pathways, ensuring survivors’ privacy, dignity, and protection at every step.
Your support is helping build safer systems, more informed healthcare responses, and stronger protection for vulnerable individuals and survivors.
Thank you for being part of this impact.
With gratitude,
