Dear Supporter,
Because of you, a newborn life is still here today.
Salsabeel was born extremely premature in one of SEMA hospitals in northern Syria. Delivered in her seventh month, she spent her first 10 days suspended between life and death. She suffered from severe respiratory distress, dangerous infections, and cyanosis. At one point, we feared we would lose her.
Immediately after birth, our medical team intervened without delay. Salsabeel was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, placed on a ventilator, and given full lifesaving care. Day by day, hour by hour, the team fought for her fragile life.
After one week, signs of hope finally appeared. Her breathing stabilized. Her response to treatment improved. Today, Salsabeel is stronger — she has begun feeding better and continues to recover gradually under close medical supervision.
Her displaced mother says:
“I could not believe my daughter was still alive.”
Soon, Salsabeel will be discharged from the hospital — living proof of what your compassion can achieve. She will carry with her a story of survival written by your generosity.
From the depths of our hearts, thank you for standing with the most vulnerable, for saving newborn lives, and for turning despair into hope.
With deep gratitude,
