Dear Supporter,
Thanks to your generosity and compassion, moments of warmth, safety, and joy reached children who face daily battles with chronic illness. At the Specialized Surgical Hospital, our Protection Department carried out a heartfelt humanitarian initiative dedicated to supporting children living with thalassemia—reminding them and their families that they are not alone.
The initiative supported 19 children, boys and girls, through simple yet deeply meaningful activities designed to nurture emotional well-being alongside medical care.
Children participated in drawing, clay modeling, and emotional expression activities that allowed them to share feelings, relax, and reconnect with childhood joy. Mothers were actively involved, creating a safe space for dialogue, listening, and psychological support.
As a symbol of care and warmth, each child received a handmade wool scarf, lovingly prepared to offer comfort during the cold season and to convey a message of dignity, attention, and human connection.
The impact was immediate and visible—smiles, calmness, and moments of genuine happiness filled the room. For the mothers, the initiative provided rare moments of reassurance and peace, reinforcing that they are supported and not facing this journey alone.
Children living with thalassemia need more than treatment alone—they need warmth, joy, and the feeling of life continuing with hope.
Your support made these moments possible.
Thank you for standing with these children, for caring beyond medicine, and for helping us bring humanity, comfort, and light into their lives.
With sincere gratitude,
