Dear Supporter,
At 4 in the morning, a 75-year-old woman arrived at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria, suffering from severe chest pain spreading to her arm and jaw. She was sweating, nauseated, and in critical danger.
She was having a major heart attack. And every minute mattered.
An emergency examination revealed a complete blockage in one of the heart’s most important arteries. Without immediate treatment, the consequences could have been devastating.
But there was hope.
SEMA’s emergency cardiac catheterization team was ready—even at 4 AM.
The medical team immediately performed a lifesaving procedure, reopening the blocked artery and inserting a drug-eluting stent to restore blood flow to her heart.
Alhamdulillah, the procedure was successful. Another patient was given a precious chance at life.
This is why your generosity matters.
With the activation of 24/7 emergency cardiac catheterization services at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria, critically ill patients can now receive urgent cardiac interventions without dangerous delays.
For a patient suffering a heart attack, access to treatment in the middle of the night can make all the difference.
Your support helps make lifesaving medical care possible when patients need it most—not just during the day, but every hour of the night.
Dear donor, thank you for standing with SEMA and helping bring hope to vulnerable patients across Syria.
Because emergencies don't wait for morning. And neither should lifesaving care.
With heartfelt gratitude,
