Dear Project Supporters
Since the last project report, this project has raised $91.00. These funds were used to provide coal, thread, machine oil and other supplies used by the tailoring trainees at the Develop Africa Empowerment and Training Institute. This enabled them to sew the uniforms for our kids as they returned to school in April, post Ebola.
In the photos, you can see the trainees sewing new uniforms and the kids displaying their new uniforms - made possible because of your support.
Given that uniforms are one of the reasons why kids are not able to attend school, we together removed a hurdle. The kids are happily back in school - proudly wearing their new uniforms.
In the coming months, we plan to offer training in Tie and Dye. This has been actively requested by the current batch of trainees. We welcome your support today to make this a reality.
With gratitude
The Develop Africa Team
