Providing Education & Training to Women in India

Hello Friends and Family,

India is such a stunning country but it comes with so many problems and with your support we are the solution. It's been a much slower re-start in India post COVID than many other countries as we have some very high peaks towards the end of the pandemic and health care is extremely poor over here. 

Anyway let's talk about our exciting updates from our amazing women empowerment training program. Unfortunately with the lockdown our project came to a total stop and many women found themselves very busy with families that our engagement dropped so we opened our doors again at the start of this year. It was like a total restart for us. We now have 10 women joining us 3 times a week to learn sewing skills and once they complete their 6 month training they will be given a business mentor and support to set up their own business. We also have secured from donations a small grant for each woman that graduates so they can purchase materials to make their first items to sell as this has been 100% funded by you, thank you! 

We have a few months before we will kick start our second group but we are now actively fundraising to fund the next 10 women to join our program and if we are successful in our fundraising this will kick off in October.
