Providing Education to 450 Children in Ruhagarika

SUPPLYING WATER TO IWACU KAZOZA SCHOOL

AND THE ORPHANAGE  FROM THE DRILLED WELL

With a donation of $10,000 that has been pledged by one of JRMD donors to help

supply water to  Iwacu Kazoza School and the Orphanage it will enable us to

purchase pipes and install them in the ground from the drilled well to the above

mentioned school and orphanage.

To supply water to Iwacu Kazoza School and the Orphanage from the drilled well requires $43,162.   Now a donation of $10,000 has been pledged, we still need to raise $33,162  for the completion of this project. As you already know, a  Well has been drilled and Water has been found. It is pure and plenty of water.  The drilled Well  will be able to provide water to the school, orphanage and surrounding community. The remaining work to be done is to install water solar pump, pipes, build water tanks then to supply to the school, orphanage and surrounding community.

Getting water to the Orphanage  and School from the drilled well will be done in the following  phases:

I. Piping  (search and Connection)

II. Construction of two water tanks with the capacity of 10 m³

III. Construction of a 12 taps fitted with water fountain  

IV. Purchasing and installation of two  solar pumps

V. Construction fence at the source

As $10,000 has been pledged  for this project to supply to Iwacu Kazoza School,

we still need  to raise $33,162 for the  completion of this project.

THE SCHOOL YEAR 2022-2023 GOT

STARTED ON SEPTEMBER 5-2022

During the school year 2022-2023 Iwacu Kazoza School will be providing education to 530 students.

Iwacu Kazoza School current needs for the school year 2022-2023:
• To rehabilitate Iwacu Kazoza School, complete the unfinished sections of the school building construction, furnish the school with more student’s desks: $15,206
• The Installation of Solar System Panels: $3,275
• Student’s books and notebooks, chalks and administration materials: $3,197
• The total Funds needed: $2,938+15,206+$3,275+$3,197= $24,616

Besides the total funds needed  to rehabilitate Iwacu Kazoza School, complete the unfinished sections of the school building construction, furnish the school with more student’s desks, Installation of Solar System Panels, Student’s books and notebooks, chalks and administration materials, to pay the teachers and administration staff, we  $48,750 for the school year 2023.

Education will  enable  and help the underprivileged and orphaned children become self-sufficient, experience bright future and test the good things that the World has to offer.  A donation of $135 will pay student materials, school uniform and teacher for an education of one underprivileged child for an entire school year  and  a donation of $1,350 will provide education to 10 underprivileged children and … Your donation will make a huge difference in the lives of underprivileged children in Burundi.
