BEGINNING THE SCHOOL YEAR WITHOUT FUNDS
IN HAND TO PAY TEACHERS’ SALARIES
At Iwacu Kazoza School for the last five years, we have been experiencing hard times due to our inability to pay teachers’ salaries, as the school year has been starting without funds in hand. Due to this situation, teachers have been striking during the school year, especially during times of exams.
Due to this lack of funds to pay teachers’ monthly salaries, each month and school year ends with unpaid teachers’ salaries.
To avoid this situation from happening again during the school year program, we would like to ask our partners and friends to help us cover teachers’ salaries for each month of the school year. Our school year budget to pay teachers and administration staff is: $49,885.
Thank you in advance for your financial donation to help us continue to provide education to the underprivileged and orphaned children schooling at Iwacu Kazoza School in Burundi, Africa.
