BE A NEW HOPE FOR THE UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN!!

Wherever you are and in whatever you do, you can be a new hope for the underprivileged children in Burundi, Africa.

A well educated person is one who not only has valuable skills and knowledge but who most importantly has character and a feeling for others so that he or she may contribute to the well-being of all, not just him or herself.

To help change the lives of orphans and continue to provide shelter and education to the underprivileged children, JRMD invites friends and friends of friends to support Iwacu Kazoza School and the orphanage under construction that will accommodate and care for 160 orphans.

While raising funds for Kevin’s surgery, I had to delay fundraising for the school that educates 450 orphans and vulnerable children in Ruhagarika, Burundi. Funds raised for Kevin’s surgery was not even enough to pay hospital bills, we had to borrow some money to complete hospital bill payment.

After his surgery in Chennai, India and back to Burundi, we have been trying to raise money to pay back funds borrowed, pay teachers and feed Kevin, but still unable as I do not see any donation coming in, despite a nice article wrote by GlobalGiving: https://medium.com/globalgoodness/the-7-400-mile-surgery-a00347c0f840

Remember, today Iwacu Kazoza School is among the BEST schools in Burundi; it is among 15 best schools at national level providing a good education. This is witnessed by the results from national exams of 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. You and your donation are playing a major role to make this to happen to the students schooling at Iwacu Kazoza School.

Your donation will enable us to finish the school year 2016-2017 without having teachers striking. All donations are tax deductible.

Time is now to save the lives of these children and help them decide for their future. There is no time to wait. Will you join us to make this to happen? Please, take action NOW:  https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/providing-education-to-450-youths-in-ruhagarika/
