THE JULY 15 GLOBALGIVING PARTNER REWARDS BONUS DAY

Thank you for your generous support of Iwacu Kazoza School. Because of you, this year was a great success for the school and our students. In total, 495 primary and secondary students enrolled for the school year 2014-2015 and 466 advanced. 54 Sixth and tenth grade students sat for national exam. We are hoping that the students from Iwacu Kazoza School will get higher percentage test results. The results for both should be published between July and August 2015. We are hoping that the students from Iwacu Kazoza School will get higher test percentage results. The results for both Primary and secondary school, will be published between July and August 2015.

I am writing about a wonderful opportunity that will be happening on Wednesday, July 15---GlobalGiving Partner Rewards Bonus Day! Matching donation days are a critical part of our school budget, and for this event, the goal is to raise $11,000 and will be directed 100% to fund the salaries of our wonderful teachers and administrators---28 in all! The amount of money that we need to complete the school year 2014-2015.

On Wednesday, July 15th, matched giving will begin at 6:00 AM PST or 9:00 AM EST and end at 8:59 PM PST or 23,59 PM EST (or when funds runs out.) As most matching funds are usually depleted within the first 10 minutes, please plan to have your information set to make your leveraged donation in the first few minutes. Donations will be matched at 50%, up to $1,000 per individual donor.

Please share this information regarding the Matching donations with your friends on Facebook. Ask them to donate for our school on July 15th, 2015.

OUR SOLIDARITY WITH THEM WILL REMAIN ENDLESS

Yes, Commitment requires courage and patience; Patience and courage never fail and are determined by the End. What is not possible today, should not be a subject of discouragement or failure; it only requires more actions, patience and courage; knowing that there is wonderful joy ahead.

Providing education to these unprivileged children will enable them to become self-sufficient one day. That’s why together, we are committed to help these children so that they can continue to have access to education. Our solidarity with the unprivileged children and providing education to them will remain endless, because they also have the right to have access to education.

Our mission is to help and enable the unprivileged children to have a bright future and become parents, businessmen/women and leaders of tomorrow. This is only possible through education. Caring for them will give them a new hope for a bright future.

The two weeks violent political demonstrations, related to the 3rd term of President Nkuruniza Pierre resulted a failed coup and deaths of people in Bujumbura Capital City: http://www.rte.ie/news/2015/0514/700977-burundi-fighting/ Despite what has been happening in Bujumbura City since April 26, 2015, Iwacu Kazoza School continues to provide education to the unprivileged children. Remember, Iwacu Kazoza School is located in Cibitoke Province, at 32 miles of Bujumbura City.The school year 2014-2015 will finish its school activities by July 15, 2015. To be able to finish the school year 2014-2015 and pay teachers’ salaries, we need to raise around $12,200. This is a very urgent need. We also need to roof 4 more additional classrooms (the 4 more additional classrooms to be roofed are at the stage of roofing) and purchase 2 big plastic water tanks to secure water for the school

IT IS A NEW HOPE FOR UNPRIVILEGED CHILDREN

IWACU KAZOZA SCHOOL_A NEW HOPE FOR UNPRIVILEGED CHILDREN

Because of your donations, Iwacu Kazoza School continues to provide education to the unprivileged children and the school is counted among the best schools providing qualitative education in the region. This is a good result of your work and our work together. We give thanks to our donors for making possible the education of these children, who could not have access to education without your financial help. Iwacu Kazoza School is a NEW HOPE FOR THE UNPRIVILEGED CHILDREN IN BURUNDI, AFRICA.

From July 2013 – March 2015, 476 donations were made, totaling $68,812 made by 194 donors. 5 of the 194 donors are making their donations on monthly bases, through GlobalGiving.

Currently, the school is providing education to 495 unprivileged children, with 28 teachers and school administration staff. To finish the school year 2014-2015, we need to raise $16,380, so that we can pay our teachers’ salaries for February-July 2015.

TUESDAY, APRIL 14, 2015, IS MATCHING DONATIONS DAY

Donations made to Iwacu Kazoza School on Tuesday, April 14, will be matched by Microsoft at 50%, up to $1,000 per donor per project. There is $100,000 for matching and prizes ranging from $5,000 to $1,000, will be given to 5 projects based on donors’ uniqueness. Matching donations will begin at 06:00 AM PST / 09:00:00 AM EST and ends at 08:59:59 PM 11:59:59 EST or when funds runs out.

Most matching funds are GONE within the first 10 minutes ; so donors should have their information set up to make their donations within the first couple minutes!!!!
