Dear Friends, the maternity has a new waiting room!
Women come to the Hospital walking from miles away on difficult roads, with a heavy sun over their heads and often carrying their babies with them. They arrive to the maternity hospital exhausted and have to wait for their appointment. Now they can wait sheltered from inclement weather and rest from the long journey in better conditions.
The works have lasted approximately 3 months, for which we have had the support of other entities, donations and professional architectural advice. In a few days we will travel to Gondar to visit the entire project and will assist to the official inauguration ceremony.
Thanks to your support we have managed a wish come true!
