This project includes running multiple medical interventions in poor communities. It includes two dispensaries, one medical centre and one clinic on wheels for the underprivileged population of Lahore (Pakistan) and surrounding areas. Our dedicated medical teams are providing essential healthcare services across various departments, including General OPD and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, and Hijama. We also offer diagnostics such as ultrasound and extensive blood tests.
Pakistan faces a severe gap in medical care for its underprivileged communities, be they in rural areas or urban slums. Many low-income families lack access to affordable healthcare, medicines, and diagnostic facilities. Basic medical needs often go unmet due to high costs, limited clinics, and transportation barriers. As a result, preventable diseases remain untreated, and people rely on charitable clinics and mobile health units for essential medical support.
The project addresses Lahore's healthcare gap by bringing affordable medical services directly to underprivileged communities. Through dispensaries, the HUF Medical Center, and the Mobile Health Unit "Clinic on Wheels," it ensures easy access to doctors, medicines, and diagnostics for those who can't afford or reach hospitals. By charging only a bare minimum and providing 3 days of medicines, and offering follow-ups, it reduces treatment costs and improves overall community health.
By providing consistent, affordable healthcare, it will reduce preventable diseases and improve the overall health and productivity of low-income communities. Early diagnosis and treatment will lower long-term medical costs and mortality rates. The project will also build trust in healthcare systems, encourage regular checkups, and promote awareness about hygiene and preventive care-ultimately leading to a healthier, more self-reliant population.
