Dear Supporters and Friends,
The PSEA Training for Staff/Volunteers of African NGOs is an important step toward safer workspaces and stronger organizational practices. Although no donations have been received yet, the groundwork for this training is actively being laid. The program will prepare NGO staff and volunteers to understand the principles of Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), to recognize early warning signs, and to uphold standards that protect both team members and the communities they serve.
We have designed the training framework to be practical and interactive, with real-world case discussions, role-play activities, and clear reporting pathways. Our team is also identifying trainers experienced in safeguarding and preparing educational resources that can be adapted to different organizational settings across Africa.
The need for this project is urgent. NGOs working in vulnerable communities must maintain the highest standards of safety and accountability. Even though funding has not yet arrived, the commitment to launch remains firm. Once the first donation is received, we will move quickly to organize pilot sessions, beginning with volunteer groups that have already expressed interest.
Your contribution will make it possible to print training manuals, cover facilitator costs, and secure venues for these sessions. Each donation will bring us closer to building a culture of safety and trust within African NGOs.
With appreciation,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
