Time has certainly flown by at our preschools, and it's incredible to think that we're already halfway through the year. Our students have been learning and growing a lot!
In this update, we want to highlight not only the impact of our programs but also the crucial role of child-parent bonding during early childhood.
The Playing with My Kid Program is designed to foster strong parent-child bonds while facilitating learning through play, this initiative has been a source of joy and growth for families. Following school hours, students and parents are welcome to immerse themselves in the world of play. Families are encouraged to stay for a little longer after classes to use our facilities, toys, and materials and play with their children. Beyond the sheer enjoyment, this program equips parents with invaluable skills to integrate play and learning into every interaction with their children.
Research has consistently shown that the early years of a child's life are a critical period for brain development, and strong parent-child relationships play a crucial role in shaping a child's cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Engaging in play with their children not only brings about laughter and fun but also creates a secure and nurturing environment where learning thrives.
We are happy to share that our evaluation surveys show that 97.3% of parents from our San Lucas preschool express feeling confident supporting their children's education. We are also proud to share that 83% of mothers are playing and stimulating their children at home regularly. Moreover, we have found that 82.5% of parents are reading with their children at home on a regular basis. This practice not only enhances language and literacy skills but also provides precious moments of bonding and exploration through storytelling.
As we continue to witness the positive outcomes of these initiatives, we are reminded of the profound impact that active and loving parental involvement can have on a child's early development. Through play and shared experiences, parents are not only building cherished memories but also providing their children with a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Thank you for making this possible!
