Planting Seeds, Growing Dreams: A Year of Growth with Your Support!

By Mishel Mussali | Director of Development

Thanks to your support, Planting Seeds' preschoolers in Guatemala are thriving, and we want to share the impact you've made possible this year:

  • Our students are immersed in fun and interactive learning experiences, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of education.
  • Each child in our schools gets to borrow a kit of children's books every month, fostering a love for reading at home with their families.
  • The caregivers of our students continue to receive valuable training, empowering them to best support their children's education. We're delighted to hear heartwarming stories of parents reading books with their children before bedtime!
  • Through our "Playing with my kid" program, we are strengthening family bonds, creating lasting connections between parents and their little ones.
  • Our little learners are ensured healthy meals during school days, a crucial element for their growth and overall development.

This year we worked with 360 students in our early childhood programs, marking a significant milestone. And we are excited to keep expanding our impact in 2024!

Every year, at our graduation ceremony, we remember all the donors that make this important job possible. Would you like to meet some of the Planting Seeds preschoolers that graduated this year and will continue their journey in primary school next year? Watch this video!

Your continuos support is making a real difference in the lives of Guatemalan children.

Thank you for caring for others, and for partnering with us to continue bringing social justice to marginalized communities in Guatemala. You are an integral part of the Planting Seeds family.

Happy new year!
