Psychodrama courses to 50 left-behind teens

Dear Valued Supporters,

As the Christmas season approaches and the year draws to a close, we would like to take this moment to extend our heartfelt thanks to you. This annual letter of appreciation is our way of saying how deeply grateful we are for your continued trust and generosity. Because of your support, Shining Star has been able to make meaningful progress in rural communities across China.

Over the years, we have partnered with more than 30 schools, accompanied thousands of children, and supported over 200 girls in continuing their education and entering universities. These milestones would not have been possible without you standing alongside us. At present, our work focuses on three core initiatives:

• Tuition support for female students in disadvantage family,
• Psychodrama programs for left-behind teenagers,
• and Resilience courses for left-behind children in rural schools.

Through long-term engagement, we have witnessed children grow in confidence and resilience—and some have even returned to join us as volunteers after completing their studies. These moments continue to inspire our team and reaffirm the value of sustained, community-based support.

Looking ahead, we warmly invite you to stay connected with us in more ways.

• In the coming months, we will be hosting a series of charity bazaars in cities such as Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing, and we would be delighted to see you there.
• We are also expanding opportunities for donors to visit project sites and participate as volunteers, offering you the chance to personally accompany children in rural primary schools and experience the impact of your support firsthand. If you have the time and interest, we would love to welcome you to join us on these visits.
