The Rainieri Cultural Center will be a permanent dialogue connecting the past and the present, fostering a dynamic interplay between tourism and the local community, as well as bridging the gap between tradition and modernity. Ultimately, it will serve as a cultural bridge.
The space has been conceived for the visitor to find cultural, historical and anthropological references about the origins of the Dominican Republic and its cultural expressions, and particularly of the Eastern region. The Rainieri Cultural Center will have a permanent exhibition hall with an area of more than 1,000 square meters. It will also have a temporary exhibition hall, workshop rooms, a cafeteria, a store and an auditorium with a capacity for 250 people.
In the permament exhibition hall, the concept is based on a common thread that structures the contents in three moments. Each of these moments includes a set of experiences organized by themes. The architectural firm is currently working with the structural engineer and others on the elevations and blueprints to have the final document.
Located in a privileged location: in the area adjacent to the new Galerias extension, across the Airport, next to the PCIS and residents of the Village.
