Bringing Clean Water and Hope to Skardu
The Pyaar Paani Project continues to improve the lives of families in the remote areas of Skardu, made possible by the generosity of our valued donors. Through Dawood Global Foundation (DGF), deep solar-powered water wells, approximately 130–160 feet deep, are providing communities with reliable access to clean drinking water. Each well benefits around 200 families, reducing the hardship of collecting water while supporting better health, hygiene, and everyday living. Water quality is tested, and trained local community members help maintain the wells to ensure their continued operation and long-term sustainability.
So far, this initiative has reached more than 2,200 families, bringing relief and a vital resource to communities where safe drinking water was once difficult to access. Each well carries a plaque in recognition of the donor whose kindness helped make this life-changing facility possible.
