Pyaar Paani Project for Skardu

The generosity of our donors continues to create lasting change through the Pyaar Paani Project in the remote communities of Skardu. With your support, Dawood Global Foundation has installed deep solar-powered water wells, reaching depths of approximately 130–160 feet, to provide a dependable source of clean and safe drinking water. Each well serves around 200 families, easing the burden of water collection and significantly improving health, hygiene, and daily living. Every installation undergoes water quality testing and is maintained by trained local community members, ensuring long-term sustainability.

To date, more than 2,200 families have benefited from this initiative, gaining access to a basic necessity that many previously lacked. Every completed well bears a plaque honoring the donor whose generosity made it possible, symbolizing hope, compassion, and a shared commitment to improving lives. Dawood Global Foundation sincerely thanks all our donors for their continued support, which is helping bring safe water, healthier futures, and renewed opportunities to families across Skardu, one well at a time.

Pyaar Paani Project for Skardu

With the generous support of donors through GlobalGiving, Dawood Global Foundation continues to bring clean and safe drinking water to remote communities in Skardu under the Pyaar Paani Project. In areas where families once struggled with severe water shortages, deep solar-powered water wells, approximately 130–160 feet deep, have now been successfully installed. Each well is providing reliable access to clean drinking water for nearly 200 families, greatly improving daily life, particularly for women and children who previously had to walk long distances to fetch water. All wells are solar-powered, carefully water-tested, and supported by trained local teams to ensure sustainable operation.

Thanks to the compassion and generosity of our donors, the project has already reached more than 2,200 families, bringing lasting relief and dignity to these communities. Each well proudly carries a plaque recognizing the donor who made it possible, and every inauguration stands as a celebration of kindness and hope. Dawood Global Foundation remains deeply grateful for this continued support, which is helping transform lives in Skardu, one well, one family, and one community at a time.
