Ramadan 2026 Emergency Appeal: Food for Palestinia

During the holy month of Ramadan 2026, the project “Ramadan 2026 Emergency Appeal: Food for Palestine” (#59077) successfully continued its humanitarian response to support the most vulnerable families affected by the ongoing crisis in Palestine.

The project focused on providing essential food parcels (food baskets) to families in greatest need, helping them maintain basic food security during a period marked by economic hardship and renewed escalation of conflict.

Despite extremely challenging conditions, we were able to reach 200 vulnerable families through the generosity of our donors and supporters.

 Key Achievements

• Distribution of 200 food parcels during Ramadan
• Each food parcel valued at approximately 800 ILS
• Direct support provided to the most vulnerable families
• Strengthening food security during a critical humanitarian period

 Food Parcel Content 

Each food basket included essential basic food items such as:

• Rice and pasta
• Cooking oil
• Flour
• Sugar
• Canned food items
• Basic Ramadan food supplies

These parcels were designed to cover essential household needs during the holy month.

 Ongoing Humanitarian Need

Despite the success of this Ramadan response, the humanitarian situation remains critical.

• Economic conditions continue to deteriorate
• Food insecurity is increasing
• Many families remain in urgent need of assistance
• Renewed conflict and instability have increased vulnerability

For this reason, the need for food assistance is not limited to Ramadan, but continues throughout the year.

Continuation of the Project

The project will continue beyond Ramadan as part of an ongoing emergency response program aimed at supporting families affected by the crisis.

We aim to:

• Expand the number of beneficiary families
• Provide continuous food assistance throughout the year
• Respond to urgent needs as conditions worsen
• Strengthen community resilience during ongoing instability
