Dear Friend
Thank you for answering our Ramadan Emergency Appeal. Because of your compassion, more than 400 families in Bethlehem's refugee camps did not face this holy month alone. In the camps of Aida, Al-Azza, and the surrounding areas, your generosity brought food, dignity, and hope to households living through some of the hardest conditions imaginable.
What your support delivered
This was more than a single kind of aid — it was a lifeline shaped around real needs. Thanks to you, we were able to distribute:
For a mother trying to prepare iftar with nothing in her kitchen, for a child waiting to break the fast, for an elderly person living alone — your gift meant a warm meal, a full table, and the knowledge that they are not forgotten.
Why this matters more than ever
The situation in the Palestinian refugee camps remains extremely difficult. Poverty is deepening, incomes are disappearing, and the number of families who cannot meet their most basic needs keeps growing. Ramadan, a month meant for togetherness and gratitude, becomes a season of worry for those who do not know where the next meal will come from. Your support turned that worry into relief for hundreds of families.
Looking ahead: preparing for next Ramadan
We want to share our vision for the year to come. The need is not shrinking — it is growing. That is why we are already beginning to prepare for next Ramadan, with the goal of reaching even more families and expanding the reach of our food parcels, fresh provisions, and hot meals from our kitchen.
Reaching more families next year will take early planning and steady support. By standing with us now, you help us prepare in advance, so that when Ramadan returns, we are ready to open our doors — and our kitchen — to every family who turns to us in need.
Thank you for filling tables and lifting hearts this Ramadan. Your kindness reached further than you may ever know, and together, we are preparing to reach even further next year.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Noor Society for People with Disability
