Floods across Pakistan have displaced thousands of vulnerable families, leaving them without food and livelihoods. Ramadan is approaching and this project will provide 500 Ramadan food packs containing flour, rice, pulses, and oil to the most affected, including widows, orphans, and daily wage earners. Each pack sustains a family for a month, offering relief and hope as they recover.
Pakistan Remote and flood affected areas are facing food insecurity crises due to recurring floods, poverty, and rising inflation. families have lost their homes and livelihoods, leaving them unable to afford even basic meals. Widows, orphans, and daily wage earners are the most vulnerable, often going to bed hungry. Without immediate support, these families risk malnutrition, illness, and further poverty, making survival and recovery extremely difficult.
This project will provide 500 Ramadan emergency food packs to flood-affected and vulnerable families across Pakistan. Each pack includes flour, rice, pulses, oil, and other essentials that can feed a family for one month. By ensuring access to nutritious food, the project will reduce hunger, prevent malnutrition, and bring immediate relief. This support allows families to focus on rebuilding their homes and livelihoods instead of struggling for daily survival.
By providing food security to 500 vulnerable families, this project will not only address immediate hunger but also give families the stability to recover from floods and economic hardship.
