Food Pack Distribution for Flood-Affected Families in Kondus, District Ghanche – Gilgit-Baltistan
In the aftermath of the recent monsoon floods in District Ghanche, Gilgit-Baltistan, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan reached out to support displaced families temporarily living in tents at Kondus.
As part of our emergency response, 100 food packs were distributed among the affected households, providing essential nutrition and relief to families who lost their livelihoods due to the disaster. Each food pack contained staple items to sustain a family for several days, ensuring no one was left without support.
This initiative contributes to multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 1 – No Poverty: Supporting low-income and disaster-affected families
SDG 2 – Zero Hunger: Providing critical food assistance to prevent hunger
SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being: Supporting nutrition and food security in crisis
SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities: Enhancing community resilience in times of natural disasters
Alkhidmat Foundation remains committed to its mission of serving humanity in need, especially during emergencies. Our teams are continuously mobilized across Pakistan to ensure swift and effective relief to vulnerable communities.
