Title: Daily Iftar Parcels Distributed to Daily Wage Workers in Bannu
Summary
Alkhidmat Foundation volunteers are distributing daily Iftar parcels to 100 daily wage workers in Bannu, including laborers, rickshaw drivers, and street vendors, ensuring they can break their fast with dignity during Ramadan.
This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s Ramadan response program, aimed at supporting hardworking individuals who continue earning their livelihood even at Iftar time.
Story / Update
Ramadan is a time of compassion, generosity, and community support. However, many daily wage workers such as laborers, rickshaw drivers, and street vendors remain on the streets during Iftar, striving to earn enough to support their families. These individuals often do not have access to proper meals to break their fast.
To address this need, Alkhidmat Foundation volunteers are actively distributing Iftar parcels at major roads, public squares, and busy intersections across Bannu city. Each parcel contains essential food items that allow workers to break their fast safely and comfortably.
Through this daily effort, Alkhidmat ensures that those who work tirelessly to provide for their families are not forgotten during this blessed month. Volunteers personally reach out to these hardworking individuals, sharing not only food but also compassion, dignity, and care.
The recipients expressed heartfelt appreciation, as these Iftar meals provide both physical nourishment and emotional encouragement during Ramadan.
