In 2026, Hands for Charity carried out its Ramadan Food Relief campaign for Gaza, Yemen, and Sudan, providing life-saving food assistance to families enduring conflict, displacement, and extreme poverty. For many, Ramadan came with uncertainty—where the next meal would come from, or how they would break their fast. Through this campaign, food baskets, warm Iftar meals, and Zakat ul Fitr distributions helped bring relief, dignity, and a sense of hope to families during the holy month.
Thanks to the compassion and generosity of donors, Hands for Charity distributed 4,100 food baskets and 36,000 warm Iftar meals, reaching over 59,100 people through these efforts alone. Thousands more individuals also benefited from Zakat ul Fitr, ensuring that even the most vulnerable were able to share in the blessings of Eid. Each meal provided was more than nourishment—it was a reminder that these families are not forgotten.
While this impact is meaningful, the need continues far beyond Ramadan. Families in Gaza, Yemen, and Sudan are still facing daily food insecurity and hardship. Your continued support is essential to sustain these efforts and expand our reach. By continuing to give, you can help ensure that vulnerable families receive the food, care, and dignity they deserve—not just during Ramadan, but throughout the year.
