Covid 19 pandemic travel and movement restrictions have a devastating impact on livelihoods for vulnerable populations, particularly those without a stable income who rely on the informal sectors to earn a living. Keeping social distancing is also a challenge in our densely populated communities.
This project will help to stop the spread of covid19 in our communities and uplift the living standards of the vulnerable women and children. It is imperative that these interventions are implemented because it will help to stop the spread of covid 19 and further reduce the mortality rate. By the end of this project, the initiative put in place will help to mitigate the spread of this pandemic and improve the livelihoods of the vulnerable groups
The project will establish community structures and enhance capacity building that will lead to the implementation of different interventions that will carry on even after the lifespan of the project. Since the project aims at improving the health of the vulnerable groups and livelihoods, it will ensure that some interventions are part of the national policy and therefore will continue to be implemented even after the project has ended.
