We want to extend our deepest thanks for your continued support of our campaign, “Rebuilding Syrian Bakeries: A Call for Hope.” Your generosity has been more than just a donation—it has been a lifeline to thousands of families striving to survive and rebuild.
After years of hardship, Syria is finally free from its previous oppressive regime—a long-awaited milestone in the country's journey toward justice and self-determination. But while the political landscape has shifted, the scars of war remain painfully present. Entire cities lie in ruins, basic infrastructure has collapsed, and millions are still struggling to meet their daily needs.
Today, Syria is no longer in chains, but it is still in shambles. The humanitarian crisis is far from over. Families continue to live in damaged homes, job opportunities are scarce, and access to food is limited. Over 12 million people remain food insecure, and the country’s once-thriving bakery networks—vital sources of sustenance—are still desperately in need of rebuilding.
Thanks to your support, however, hope is rising from the rubble.
Because of you:
Destroyed bakeries have begun operating again, offering fresh bread to families who have gone without for far too long.
Children are once again lining up for warm bread, their smiles returning with each meal.
Communities are slowly coming back to life, united by the spirit of resilience and your solidarity.
Your contributions are not just feeding people—they are restoring dignity, rebuilding livelihoods, and reaffirming that Syria’s future can be one of hope, not just hardship.
But our work is far from done.
We are calling on you once again to stand with Syria as it rebuilds from the ground up. With your continued support, we can revive more bakeries, nourish more families, and help Syria take its next steps toward lasting peace and recovery.
Thank you for believing in a better future for Syria.
With heartfelt appreciation,
The Bonyan Team
