Dear Friends,
I've been thinking about bread lately. Not the kind we grab without thinking, but the bread that families in northern Syria depend on to survive each day.
The truth is, too many families there cannot afford to buy bread anymore. Widespread poverty has made something so basic feel out of reach. And the local bakeries that once provided affordable loaves to their communities? Some have stopped working entirely. They can't afford flour. Their equipment is broken. And when a bakery closes, families who are already struggling lose their only source of affordable food.
We started this campaign to change that. But I'll be honest—donations have been slow, and the work remains unfinished. The need, though, hasn't gone anywhere. Every day, mothers wonder how they'll feed their children. Every day, another family goes without.
Your support can change this. With your help, we can provide flour to bakeries, repair broken equipment, and keep bread affordable for those who need it most.
This isn't complicated. It's bread. It's survival. It's dignity.
Please, help us keep the ovens lit and the families fed. Whatever you give makes a difference.
Sincerely,
The Smile Givers International Team
