Thanks to your help, in Arquata del Tronto a part of the school is already finished and, from September 2017, 150 students and children have classrooms, services, a computer room, a library, a canteen in a new, eco-compatible and anti-seismic structure.
A collective project that has allowed the creation of a new and safe school, after the strong earthquake that destroyed most of the buildings of the town.
Students can now attend a full and normal school life in their municipality of residence; even teachers and school employees have returned to work in the city. The project aims to help the population return to normal life. The school will last in time and will be used by future generations as well.
The new goal, to continue giving serenity to Arquata, is to rebuild the gym: a dream that is about to become reality.
The architectural project has been defined: the gym will be located next to the school and has the same architectural features. The playing field has regular size for many sports; the facility will be provided with services and changing rooms. A structure that wants to be useful also for other sports realities of the territory.
Approximately 90-100 days are required for the construction. We would like to start the new school year, in September 2018, with a new gym.
