Dear GlobalGivers,
With the funds you have so generously donated to help end hunger high in the mountains of Guerrero, Mexico, through eco-techniques and community empowerment workshops, we have now wrapped up our work there. Together, with the communities of Cochoapa, we have made the day-to-day life easier for more than 1,000 people living in extreme poverty. As Nobel Prize winner Amartya Sen says – we have increased the choices of these individuals, and this is the measure of moving out of poverty.
The communities have asked for additional workshops on nutrition and hygiene, and we are looking for partners to continue our commitment with the families and change agents of Cochoapa. We invite you to spread the word to companies you know who care about hunger and the environment. We also invite you to check out our other projects on GlobalGiving in case those inspire you too.
With gratitude,
Yo quiero Yo puedo
