Project is targeted at nursing mothers with children under 5 years. The aim is to reduce malnutrition among children under 5 years and the objective is to train and equip mothers with skills and zero interest llan empowerment facility, to facilitate the processing of nutrition related products for young children. Planning meeting will be held with stakeholders to develop and agree on the criteria for selecting mothers.
Project is aimed at eradicating extreme hunger and malnutrition among household while empowering them with a zero interest loan to start a food supply business.
Project will solve problem of extreme hunger and malnutrition among children under 5, when more households are trained on how to make complementary foods from locally available products and provided with loan to start up a small scale business.
More households will live above poverty line and attain healthy nutritional status as they will have a means of earning and knowledge on how to make the most of local products.
