Dear GlobalGiving supporters of Mt. Fuji Project,
As always, we sincerely thank you for your kindness and unwavering support of the Mt. Fuji Forest Restoration Project.
In May, we officially started our volunteer activity season. While Japan has been seeing many rainy days recently, we have fortunately been blessed with good weather during our scheduled activity days.
Thanks to the clear skies, our maintenance work has been progressing well. So far, we have hosted five out of seven maintenance sessions, involving over 430 participants.
Our big goal for the Mt. Fuji project is to create a resilient, biologically diverse forest featuring various native tree species. On our latest activity day, we found an area that perfectly captures this vision. Please take a look at the picture below to see the diverse forest we are aiming for together.
Again, we are eternally grateful for your generosity which makes our work possible.
