Hello,
We hope you are all well, here in South Africa we are coming to the end of summer but the weather is still very hot. We have noticed that with the cost of living being at a record high and a corrupt government not supporting the unemployed more people have become homeless in the last 6 months and as a result our soup kitchens are full and our outreach teams have lines of people visiting daily.
We have been working hard to support these people but winter is just around the corner and we really need to start fundraising to purchase blankets as these are essential for many homeless people to survive the May-September South African winter. On 8th April for 1 week or until funds run out GlobalGiving will be matching funding through their Little by Little campaign this means donations upto $50 will get matched and therefore if you can share our project or donate during this week we can purchase more blankets. $50 will fund around 6 -10 blankets
