In Romania, many rescued dogs are too traumatized to be adopted. We are rehabilitating 254 dogs through daily socialization and training led by 8 dedicated staff. Your support provides food, care, and hands-on rehabilitation, helping fearful dogs regain trust, safely interact with people, and finally find loving homes.
Dogs rescued from shelters often suffer severe trauma from abuse, neglect, and confinement. Many develop fear and defensive aggression, making them unadoptable. Without rehabilitation, they can spend years in shelters with little chance of ever finding a home.
We run a structured rehabilitation program for 254 dogs, led by 8 trained staff. Through daily interaction, behavioral training, leash work, and safe socialization, dogs rebuild trust in humans. Over the past 5 years, this proven approach has helped hundreds of traumatized dogs become adoptable
Each rehabilitated dog that gets adopted frees space for another in need, creating a continuous rescue cycle. This reduces overcrowding and gives more dogs a second chance. With more support, the program can expand, improving adoption outcomes and long-term animal welfare across the region.
