Rehabilitate a Poor School in a Village in Yemen

This school year has unfolded slowly, gently, not with big victories, but with small, steady moments that matter. And every one of those moments has been possible because of you. Your kindness has helped us keep classrooms clean and welcoming, hold space for children to learn, and remind families that even in difficult times, their children’s education is something worth hoping for.

We are still working with so little. There aren’t enough desks or books, and more children arrive each week hoping for a safe place to learn. But with what we have, we continue giving extra lessons to help students feel confident for their exams. We make time for play and laughter, for group activities, and for simple conversations that help a child feel seen. These small things may look ordinary, but here they are everything, tiny acts of care that tell each child, “You matter. We’re here for you.”

We are grateful to keep the school open and learning alive, even when progress feels slow. But we also know these children deserve more, more space, more materials, more opportunities to dream bigger. With your continued support, we can slowly move beyond “just getting by” and create a school environment that truly nurtures their growth, safety, and imagination.
