SUMMARY

Muwakhat Foundation is working for street children, homeless children and who are doing child labour or working in unsafe environment. Our ultimate purpose: to take out children from current unhealthy environment, give their childhood back, secure their future and have basic human rights.

Muwakhat Foundation is going to establish Rehabilitation and pre-school center for street children. These children involve in child labour, begging, forced into a life of crime, violence and are exposed to abuse. This center helps them into two phases:

• Phase 1: rehabilitate them from shock, relax, break negative habits and bring them back to normal life.
• Phase 2: give them elementary education through fun and entertainment and ultimate purpose to graduate them for regular school.

ACTIVITIES HELD BY MUWAKHAT FOUNDATION TEAM

• 12 awareness sessions on education to parents and result is 40 children registered for center.
• Infrastructure of rehabilitation Center is finalized through participatory approach, informal meetings held with community, identify problem and work on solution for how rehabilitation design for children
• Interview different female teachers who have experienced to teach street children and one of them is finalized for this project
• Study plan finalized and Muwakhat is in proceed to develop material with collaboration with psychology doctor.
• Collaborating with GAUD organization who are working for street children and will work together on rehabilitation and basic education

Way Forward

Muwakhat Foundation will finalize material by 1^st quarter of 2019.

Micro project “warm clothes for 50 children” will post in the month of October.

Rehabilitation center will be ready by end of December 2018
