Muwakhat Foundation is working on education since July 2013 with purpose to increase financial literacy rate by involve neglecting vulnerable group I,e girls, children who involve in labour, droup out students, poor children

PLAN OF ACTION:

Muwakhat Foundation will work on following steps for achieve set goals:

1) Build “Rehabilitation and Preschool center” for most neglected and vulnerable children, provide food, awareness on future, focus on alleviate their bad habits and prepare them for regular school. All they learned through fun activities.

2) Support infrastructure of school and make sustainable program of selected school.

3) Open education center in rural areas where no school exist. We will provide education till standard 5^th.

4) Conduct girls education awareness sessions in community for increase girls students and bring back girls who dropout school.

5) Help poor student specially girl to get professional degree or technical skills for financial prosperity.

ACTIVITIES from April-September 2019

Muwakhat Foundation visited three schools in Kasur districts with a purpose to achieve our education objectives: Details are

Bright School Kasur City. students strength: 180
Knowledge school village Kot Radha Kishen. Students Strength: 150

In coming months Muwakhat Foundation will support infrastructure of private schools and help to make sustainable education program.

Rehabilitation center for children

SUMMARY

Muwakhat Foundation is working for street children, homeless children and who are doing child labour or working in unsafe environment. Our ultimate purpose: to take out children from current unhealthy environment, give their childhood back, secure their future and have basic human rights.

Muwakhat Foundation is going to establish Rehabilitation and pre-school center for street children. These children involve in child labour, begging, forced into a life of crime, violence and are exposed to abuse. This center helps them into two phases:

Phase 1: rehabilitate them from shock, relax, break negative habits and bring them back to normal life.
Phase 2: give them elementary education through fun and entertainment and ultimate purpose to graduate them for regular school.

ACTIVITIES HELD BY MUWAKHAT FOUNDATION TEAM

12 awareness sessions on education to parents and result is 40 children registered for center.
Infrastructure of rehabilitation Center is finalized through participatory approach, informal meetings held with community, identify problem and work on solution for how rehabilitation design for children
Interview different female teachers who have experienced to teach street children and one of them is finalized for this project
Study plan finalized and Muwakhat is in proceed to develop material with collaboration with psychology doctor.
Collaborating with GAUD organization who are working for street children and will work together on rehabilitation and basic education

Way Forward

Muwakhat Foundation will finalize material by 1^st quarter of 2019.

Micro project “warm clothes for 50 children” will post in the month of October.

Rehabilitation center will be ready by end of December 2018

Help street children for rehabilitate & Education

Project Brief Introduction

Phase 1: rehabilitate them from shock, relax, break negative habits and bring them back to normal life.
Phase 2: give them elementary education through fun and entertainment and ultimate purpose to graduate them for regular school.

Below list of Activities held at Center with Children and Women

improve their nutrition by consistent food
Provide winter clothes for children
Educate these homeless children who are not accepting by any regular school to educate them.
Provide awareness on basic legal rights to women so decrease violence and also give free legal aid to victim women
Establish skills training center for girls
Launch adult literacy for girls and women who never went to school.
Make women productive to earn income and help in enhance income of households

ACTIVITIES during 2^nd Quarter of this Year

Registration of street and homeless children for rehabilitation center

Muwakhat Foundation was given several awareness sessions on education to parents and result is 57 children registered for center.

PLACE OFFER BY COMMUNITY FOR REHABILITATION & PRE-SCHOOL CENTER

Parents, who are willing for education to their children, offer a land for center. We will build temporary infrastructure because they are living at government place since last 25 years and not have ownership.

AWARENESS SESSIONS WITH MOTHERS

Muwakhat Foundation did three awareness sessions with mothers on importance of education, safe environment is right of every child, role of mothers and how they will support to run this center in community. Total beneficiaries were 89

Way Forward

Muwakhat Foundation will establish center till end of September 2018.

School bag.
