A free children's camp (for children from the de-occupied and frontline territories, children who were under occupation and abducted, and children who lost their parents due to the war) to provide psychological support, physical and mental recovery, and social adaptation. *A more detailed description of the project can be found in the attachment below
Children living in the de-occupied and frontline areas are socially isolated from others, especially in the context of social and cultural integration. They suffer from psychological problems such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, etc. These children spend most of their time at home or in online classes, sitting in front of gadgets, which can lead to insufficient physical activity.
The camp program will help children accept their experience of war, occupation, abduction, and loss through psychological group trainings and individual therapy. The camp will become a place where they can feel support, understanding and establish new relationships. The camp implements a program aimed at activity and physical development of children, contributing to their physical and mental recovery.
*The psychological state of children has improved, and the level of stress, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder has been reduced. *Children can interact with their loss, understand and accept their own experience. *Children have learned practices and tools to help them cope with anxiety and post-traumatic stress. *A supportive environment was created, which reduced the children's sense of social isolation and helped them to establish new connections.
