At-Risk Youth Education Sponsorship Program

Empower Develop Dignify(EDD) took this opportunity to thank all people who decided to remain with EDD in this journey of transforming the life of former street children since 2020 all away up to today where the number of street kids are coming down to less than 40 students who are currently in school. 

EDD is sponsoring 2 students to a level of primary school and 32 students in secondary schools where we have 34 students in total. around 15 students are closer to finishing their high school studies.

actually students study in different schools at different levels glad that we managed to pay the school fees, school materials and other needed items in this second term ending the 29th March 2024. 

Story Patrick : I am a student and study in Secondary S3.I was helped by EDD since this school term. I was humble to do something small in my eyes but it became something remarkable to the school and family of EDD. I didn't expect the word of what I did to be shared and bum in that way but I was amazed that it was a good lesson to everyone. I told the school principal that I did one day's work on holiday and took only 2000 rwf to help students who can't afford to pay that amount. School principal give the money to the students in need. Since I got help in my life from childhood after street life, I got a value and heart behind the support which made me decide to share the small amount I earned with other children in need. EDD was impressed by this simple act of Patrick which made the school administration.

Stay turned and stand with EDD in this journey of supporting those former street children who are studying in different studies. Your support will remain alive and bring a long lasting impact like the way Patrick kept the message of heart of reaching to the others.

We have a little by little campaign in one week and few days from 08th to 12th april 2023, your donation will be marched and bring additional support.
