Empower Develop Dignify (EDD) continues to celebrate the opportunity to partner with generous donors through the GlobalGiving platform—together, we are making history and transforming lives!
Currently, 19 students are actively benefiting from the EDD program. We are proud of their commitment, determination, and remarkable progress. Additionally, 9 students have successfully completed their studies and graduated with diplomas. Some of them have achieved excellent results and may qualify for government scholarships, opening new doors for their futures.
This program supports students who were part of EDD before 2020, helping them complete their education and reintegrate successfully into their families and communities. Over time, the number of beneficiaries has decreased naturally as many students have completed their studies and embarked on their journeys toward adulthood—becoming positive changemakers within their families and society.
Here is a testimony from Jonathan, one of our proud beneficiaries:
“I am Jonathan. I was part of EDD until the end of 2020 when the program closed and all students returned home. At that time, I had little hope and my family didn’t expect me to continue school. I restarted in Primary 4, and although the journey was challenging, I made it through with EDD’s support—especially through school fees and materials. Today, I am in Secondary Senior 3, with three more years to go. I am so grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who believes in us.”
EDD is also excited to announce its upcoming GlobalGiving campaign, which will take place on December 2–3, 2025. This will be another great opportunity to contribute, as all donations made during this period will be matched, multiplying the impact of your generosity and helping us continue empowering young lives in the new year.
