This project will work to establish Bangladeshi third-gender rights. Under this project, two hundred members of the third-gender will have the opportunity to participate in job-oriented training and workplace in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. As a result, the third gender population will achieve economic and social development in society.
About 7000 third-gender people live in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Here most of the third gender are deprived of their basic needs. As a result, they are getting involved in various criminal activities including begging. But their inclusion in normal society is possible through education and technical training.
PATHWAY will provide enhanced training, awareness and symposiums for vulnerable third genders. Through its implementation illiteracy, poverty, unhealthy, disability, third gender security risks will be addressed. This project will bring forward a group of third-gender people who are scattered in different parts of the world to give inspiration to the backward third-gender members.
Through this project, the third-gender community will become socio-economically self-reliant. As a result, their basic rights and security will be ensured in the society.
