During the holy month of Ramadan, a time when needs intensify and hardship deepens in the besieged Gaza Strip, your generous support became a beacon of hope for families worn down by displacement, poverty, and uncertainty.
Thanks to your kind donations, we were able to distribute 100 complete food baskets to 100 displaced families living in various areas across northern Gaza during last Ramadan. These baskets helped cover their essential food needs throughout the blessed month.
Each basket included basic food staples such as:
The distribution was carried out by our local field team, who made every effort to reach the most vulnerable families—those who had lost their homes and now live in temporary shelters or tents lacking the bare minimum for survival.
We witnessed tears of relief in the eyes of mothers, and genuine smiles from children who felt—perhaps for the first time in a while—that they were not alone in this holy season.
At Umut Uluslararas Hayr Dernegi, we believe that humanitarian support should not be limited to special occasions—but rather, begin from them.
That’s why we continue working to provide ongoing food assistance and vital aid to struggling families in Gaza, and we aim to expand our response in the months ahead.
We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to this noble effort, and we invite you to continue supporting us and sharing our mission—so together, we can reach thousands more who are still waiting… and hoping.
