18 months after the Chennai floods, daily wage families of Ekaduthangal, Manali, Andarkuppam, Napalayam, Velacherry, Tambaram are struggling for returning to normalcy. They appreciate the relief packages, the recovery programs and the educational supports extended to them with help from friends through Global Giving.
Chennai flood families will be helped with 600 notebooks, 120 lunch boxes and 120 water bottles for school Children before July 2017. Kalaipattarai - the local partner wanted school bags and guide books. But, we expressed inability due to financial constrains. Note books designed with logos of VOICE Trust, GlobalGiving, Kalaipattarai.
