Renovation the Dalit peoples damaged houses.

Summary

For every five people in this world, one is without a home. Housing changes everything for a family and children living in poverty. Inadequate Housing is one of the largest problems in the world today. It is pervasive and overwhelming. This approach to fighting poverty will have a direct effect on the efforts to reduce hunger, curb child marriage, empower women, reduce sickness, educate children and more.Community-led improvements in housing, housing infrastructure and the local environment.

Solution

Select 100 top poorest of poor based on poverty. renovation and reconstruct one hundred damaged , semi houses For Dalit community. The newly renovated poor houses has created a conducive environment for Dalit community and tribal to realize their worth as human beings and equal citizens. They no longer feel that they are inferior to other sections. Hence with this one time assistance, we are not only helping the present generation to lead a dignified life and also the future generation.

Long-Term Impact

The temporary thatched roof will be dismantled with the help of community participation. For each damaged house a working group will be selected from the Self Help groups and this group of people will help them in rebuilding the structure. The fellow colleagues will get half of the original wages and help the beneficiaries to complete the house at low cost. This project aims to protect their livelihood and shelter. So we believe that our project is very much consist with the objective .
