By Francis Osisiogu | Project Leader
As of this reporting period, the Rescue 80 Children from Street Begging in Nigeria project is still in its early implementation stage, with a strong focus on financial mobilization and initial outreach preparation.
Financial Overview
Current funding levels indicate that the project is still heavily reliant on additional fundraising efforts to begin full-scale operations. The small amount raised to date has helped support preliminary administrative planning, but is not yet sufficient to activate field operations such as child rescue, shelter provision, or rehabilitation services.
Financial Progress Status
Summary
While the project has received initial donor interest, significant financial mobilization is still required to commence active rescue operations for the 80 targeted children. Current efforts are focused on increasing visibility, attracting institutional and individual donors, and strengthening fundraising channels to meet the required budget for full implementation.
Once adequate funding is secured, the project will transition into field deployment, beginning with outreach and immediate child protection services.
