By Ahmed Al-Qadhi | Project Leader

Dear GlobalGiving Donors and Supporters,

It is with great happiness that Support Yemeni Society Organization's Team with the support of GlobalGiving and your generous support still implementing the humanitarian project "Rescue and Save Rare Yemeni Tiger from Extinction" https://goto.gg/46231 for the fifth time. We would like to say that your donation is making a big difference.

What We Did So Far

Dear Generous Donors,

In the previous four stages of implementing this project, SYS Organization's Team has conducted many activities and campaigns. They are as follows:

- We enrolled the volunteer team of six persons who believe in the importance of saving this rare and significant animal from extinction.

- We conducted two awareness-raising campaigns about protecting Yemeni Tigers from illegal poaching. Moreover, thousands of flyers about the Yemeni Tiger and its symbolism were distributed to people in Bani Qais District as well as in Sana'a the capital city.

-      SYS Organization's Team also paid visits to Sana'a zoo where some Yemeni Tigers are kept to check the conditions of those tigers in the zoo. We also pulled out the snares in the Bani Qais Nature Preserve.

- We launch awareness-raising campaigns on social media like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

- We paid a visit to Bani Qais Nature Preserve.

- Our volunteer team in Abyan Governorate launched an awareness-raising campaign about the risks of poaching the Yemeni Tiger.

Dear Generous Donors,

In this stage, SYS' Team continues the raising-awareness campaign as an easy means to reach ordinary people everywhere. They distributed more than 1000 flyers about rare tigers and their importance. Moreover, awareness campaigns in schools for students and teachers. Besides, SYS Organization Team paid the salary of the guards at Bani Qais Nature Preserve.

Dear Generous Donors,

The task of preserving those rare animals is not an easy one. However, SYS Team determines to continue the mission as a National Duty.

Dear Generous Donors,

To achieve that noble purpose, we warmly invite you to start a monthly donation. Tell your family and friends: together, we have the power to provide stability for Rare Yemeni Tigers.

 Warmest regards.

 Yours,

 Ahmed Al-Qadhi
