Good News! Yemeni Tiger’s supporters are increasing day by day in Yemen. A group of young people in Hajja has joined our team and offered their volunteer help regarding protecting the Yemeni tigers from extinction. Support Yemeni Society Organization’s Team with the support of GlobalGiving and your support is still implementing the humanitarian project Rescue and Save Rare Yemeni Tiger from Extinction. This time SYS Team hold a very important meeting with the local authorities in Bani Qais District, Hajja Governorate to discuss ways of protecting the rare tigers in the district from illegal pooching. The outputs of the meeting were as follows:
- The local authorities will double the field campaign to pull out the snares in the Bani Qais Nature Preserve.
- The local authorities will appoint one more guard for the Nature Preserve.
- The local authorities will increase the number of patrols.

Support Yemeni Society Organization’s Team also conducted an awareness-raising campaign about the importance of these animals. Moreover, we distributed 200 posters and flyers about the Yemeni Tigers.
