We are thrilled to share some incredibly heartening news with you! The support for our mission to rescue the rare Yemeni tiger from extinction is growing rapidly across Yemen. Just recently, 100 young people in the Al-Dale Governorate came together and pledged their commitment to protecting these magnificent big cats from the threat of poaching. The Support Yemeni Society Organization’s Team would like to express its deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and commitment to our humanitarian project, “Rescue and Save Rare Yemeni Tiger from Extinction."

Over the past three months, our team has been able to implement several impactful activities aimed at protecting the Yemeni tigers. We have conducted three comprehensive awareness campaigns in targeted governorates, educating local communities on the importance of tiger conservation. Additionally, we have distributed much-needed food supplies to various locations in the Bani Qais Mountains, where the Yemeni tigers make their home.

Just a decade ago, the Yemeni tiger population had dwindled to fewer than 50 individuals, leaving them teetering on the edge of oblivion. However, through a concerted international conservation effort, we have been able to turn the tide and bring these big cats back from the brink.
